Sunday Morning Kombucha With Slimming Superfoods
I love Sunday mornings, even when my dogs wake me up too early. I love my dogs beyond belief so I think of them just missing me and wanting me to be with them. I know better but those thoughts help at 5AM on Sunday mornings 🙂
I started my morning with some ginger kombucha over ice with a scoop of my slimming superfoods. The Slimmer tastes like apricot. It’s great in plain water but I’m adventurous and always test new ways to use healthy products. I just stumbled into this combination when I opened the fridge and saw the lone bottle of kombucha hanging out. Anyway, I decided to give it a test with the Slimmer and it was a HIT. I will start adding this daily to keep my gut happy 🙂

I was thinking about the fermented foods that are superfoods and I saw my Kombucha in the fridge. Did you know kombucha is a tea? It starts with black tea and sugar. It has a colony of bacteria and yeast called SCOBY or mother that starts the fermentation process when combined with sugar. After being fermented, kombucha becomes carbonated and contains vinegar, b-vitamins, enzymes, probiotics and a high concentration of acid (acetic, gluconic and lactic).
